Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the city and preparing for your trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Begin your trek with a gentle descent to Phakding, passing through charming Sherpa villages and enjoying views of the Dudh Koshi River. Overnight in Phakding.
Trek through lush forests and cross several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Climb steeply up to Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region. Enjoy your first views of Everest and the surrounding peaks. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Spend the day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. Take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Explore the local markets and interact with the Sherpa community. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Ascend gradually through rhododendron forests to reach the village of Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery. Enjoy breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. Overnight in Tengboche.
Descend through a forest of birches, conifers, and rhododendrons to cross the Imja Khola. Then, ascend steadily to the village of Dingboche, passing through picturesque Sherpa villages along the way. Overnight in Dingboche.
Spend a day in Dingboche to acclimatize. Take a short hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m) for stunning views of Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache, and Ama Dablam. Overnight in Dingboche.
Trek to the small settlement of Chhukung, surrounded by towering peaks and glaciers. This day is relatively short, allowing for further acclimatization. Overnight in Chhukung.
Begin early to cross the challenging Kongma La Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks before descending to the Khumbu Glacier and continuing to Lobuche. Overnight in Lobuche.
