Trip Itinerary
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant capital city and preparing for your trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Take a scenic and thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Begin your trek with a gentle descent to Phakding, passing through Sherpa villages and enjoying views of the Dudh Koshi River. Overnight in Phakding.
Trek through lush forests and cross several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Climb steeply up to Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region. Enjoy your first views of Everest and the surrounding peaks. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Spend the day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. Take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Explore the local markets and interact with the Sherpa community. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Trek through pine and rhododendron forests with occasional views of Everest and Ama Dablam. Descend to the Dudh Koshi River and then climb up to Tengboche, home to the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Visit Tengboche Monastery and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery. Overnight in Tengboche.
Descend through forests and cross the Imja Khola. Gradually ascend to the village of Dingboche, passing through Pangboche and enjoying views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and other peaks. Dingboche is a scenic village with stone-walled fields. Overnight in Dingboche.
Spend the day in Dingboche for acclimatization. You can take an optional hike to Nagarjun Hill or Chukhung Valley for acclimatization and stunning views of Makalu, Lhotse, and other peaks. Overnight in Dingboche.
Continue your trek with a gradual climb to Dughla, where you will have lunch. Ascend the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to reach the memorial area of climbers who lost their lives on Everest. Continue to Lobuche, where you will have magnificent views of Nuptse and Pumori. Overnight in Lobuche.
Trek through the rocky and glacial terrain to reach Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. After lunch, continue your trek to Everest Base Camp, following the Khumbu Glacier. Spend some time at the base camp, soaking in the incredible atmosphere, before returning to Gorak Shep. Overnight in Gorak Shep.
Start early to climb Kala Patthar, the best viewpoint for a panoramic view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and the surrounding peaks. Descend to Gorak Shep for breakfast and then continue your trek down to Pheriche. Overnight in Pheriche.
Retrace your steps through Pangboche and Tengboche, descending gradually through forests and crossing rivers. Climb back up to Namche Bazaar, enjoying the changing scenery along the way. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Trek down from Namche Bazaar, crossing suspension bridges and passing through Sherpa villages. Reach Lukla, where you can celebrate the completion of your trek with your fellow trekkers and guides. Overnight in Lukla.
Take an early morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring Kathmandu or relaxing after your trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
